These New Puritans - Elvis

And no, I'm not talking about that king!

In fact, I have no idea what they're talking about in this little diddy but my iTunes is telling me I've listened to it a total of 16 times since I purchased it on the 31st of March. Wow! I guess I find it a bit catchy.

These New Puritans hailing from Southend-on-Sea in England have a urgent sound to them and their new album Beat Pyramid has a lot of random songs on it that are quite danceable yet ominous sounding. Think The Fall, an amazing post-punk band from back in the d-izz-ay, in case you didn't know already.

Mind you the video is weird yet oddly enticing. Something about blowers and flesh seem to thrill me. Uh, that was an unusual sentence.

I think you should definitely check them out. Trust, they're not just another UK indie band. I think there is something quite unique here.
