Allow Me to Introduce Myself...

Howdy y'all and welcome to Morning Railway! What's Morning Railway you ask? Well, it's a site dedicated to music and travel, with a little DIY and Car-aoke thrown in. It's a place where you can talk about how awesome your hometown is and what you're doing to change it and make big things happen. Blogs, vlogs and photos make up MornRail to create an experience like no other!

Well, who am I, you might also ask? I'm a 20 year old amateur photographer who loves to hit the road a meet interesting folks. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas it's my job; my life to step out of the comfort zone and see what this world has to offer. Morning Railway came to me when my bff Chelly and I attended Bonnaroo Music & Arts Fest 2007 and got to cover it for Jane Magazine (now defunct). We had the chance to do this big thing despite no journalism experience. Well, except my work for the Tofolla Middle School paper. It was all very exciting, not just being able to attend this fun festival but to write about the long road trip, the craziness of setting up a tent, and the awesome, sometimes humorous performances we saw everyday! As big as Bonnaroo was, I'm also interested in the things on the smaller scale. The hole-in-the-wall restaurants, artists making a splash, and hometown heroes.
